Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PettyBuddy, a WhatsApp-based AI expense monitoring and reporting service.

The service

PettyBuddy allows employees to submit receipts via WhatsApp, email, or photo upload. Our AI reads, categorises, and logs expenses, and makes them retrievable by the employee and the company admin.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be authorised to act on behalf of your company.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of submitted receipts.
• The company admin controls who can access workspace data.

Acceptable use

• Do not submit fake, fraudulent, or illegal receipts.
• Do not misuse the WhatsApp number or automate spam.
• Do not attempt to access data belonging to another company.

Data ownership

Your company owns the expense data it submits. PettyBuddy processes this data only to provide the service. We do not sell or use it for advertising.

AI accuracy and disclaimers

PettyBuddy uses AI to extract and categorise receipt information. Results should be reviewed by a human before being used for tax, audit, or financial decisions. We are not a substitute for a licensed accountant.

Fees and payment

Fees for paid plans will be communicated before any billing begins. Any changes to pricing will be shared in advance.

Termination

Either party can end the service with reasonable notice. Upon termination, you may request an export or deletion of your data.

Liability

PettyBuddy is provided as-is within the limits allowed by law. We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate receipts, misuse, or events beyond our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
